The fashion industry in the 21st century is slowly changing since the old style of fashion is being incorporated in the new style of fashion. For instance the trend in vintage clothing as a fashion exploded in the 1960s, prior the trading and wearing of old clothing had different connotations.
On the other hand, vintage refers to the category contained within the second hand, which is the category of clothing that even though have been produced a while ago, they still have good quality and can be worn.

Vintage clothes are usually found on the streets and most of the market places around, in general they are cheaper as compared to designer clothes but on the quality, they appear decent and durable when thoroughly washed after being bought and kept in good places. Since vintage is unique as described in the 21st century.
On the other hand when storing vintage clothes keep them with thin or fragile shoulder areas folded over by the waist or shelved, stay alert to fabric pests, never store vintage items in plastic bags or containers, do not hang the knited vintage because they are stretchy and might tear and finally do not let worn out vintage clothes sit unwashed and if need be they should be taken regularly to the tailor if they are worn out so as to make them last longer.
The vintage type of fashion in the 21st century is widely loved by the youth compared to other ages since the vintage is a design style focusing on mixing the old with the new. The vintage look also has a unique way of wearing it so as one not to look odd or unpresentable when wearing the vintage type of fashion.
When you pick on the vintage type of fashion you have to pick garments that look like current trend and you would be surprised because most of the current designers clothing comes close to replicating the vintage type of fashion in this 21st century.
The type of hairstyle and make-up to be applied also matters a lot when you have decided to venture in the vintage type of fashion. A classic and simple hairstyle will update the look, the type of shoes and jewels also should match the type of vintage fashion that you may have decided to put on.
Wearing vintage has become a distinguishing maker of cultural and economic capital. Most sellers nowadays have concentrated on vintage selling since it attracts more customers especially the youth. Wearing of second hand clothes has given the world a new experience of changing it in terms of fashion.
In my country Kenya there are a lot of places where vintage clothes are sold, these places always varies in prices since different places have different prices as per the needs of the buyers. All in all it all depends on one’s taste and affordability but above all vintage clothing are of good quality and thus will make it last longer in the markets and fashion as a whole.
Vintage clothing is history and art since the purchasing and wearing of vintage clothes is a way of keeping those people and those histories and the artistry alive. Vintage fashion can be termed as timeless fashion since it is a design that will always remain on trends.
