Entrepreneurs of the African diaspora, are you planning to scale your venture to Ghana, Senegal or Zimbabwe? The ENRICH scaling programme will support you to define your scaling strategy and roadmap, and provide you with the connections needed to execute them.
The ENRICH in Africa programme aims to build capacity for incubators, accelerators, and entrepreneurs in Europe and Africa, with a focus on promoting networking opportunities and incubation and acceleration support to strengthen innovators’ capacity to establish themselves in the other continent.
As part of this programme, Impact Hub offers a scaling programme for African diaspora entrepreneurs and innovators in Europe who are ready to scale their ventures to Ghana, Senegal or Zimbabwe. The programme uses the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals to ensure that selected participants positively impact the markets they are scaling to. The programme includes a scaling diagnostic, an intensive online bootcamp, sponsored travel to Ghana, customised online support, and access to key platforms and networks.
What to expect
- Selected participants will undergo a scaling diagnostic to identify their individual needs
- An intensive online bootcamp over a week which covers topics such as scaling strategies, business culture in Africa, financing scaling, and more.
- An enabling environment to build sustainable, strategic relationships within the continent based on the diagnostic and roadmap.
- Sponsored trip to Ghana for a tailored, in-person experience with investors, programme partners and other founders and leaders to help accelerate your venture’s success on the continent
- Customised online support for two weeks after the scaling week in Ghana
- Access to key entrepreneurial platforms, the ENRICH in Africa network and a Impact Hub co-working space in your host country for up to six months
Apply if you
- Are a member of the African diaspora and over the age of 18.
- Are available to fully participate in the programme activities:
- Bootcamp 27 April and May 2 to 5, up to 4 hours per day
- 3 to 4 hours a week from May 8 to June 11
- Full week of Accra visit June 12 to 17
- 2 to 3 hours a week from the June 19 to 30
- Have intermediate level of written and spoken English.
- Have already made the decision to scale to one of the participating countries (Ghana, Senegal, Zimbabwe).
- Can demonstrate the need for your venture in one of the target markets.
